Not that hard to apply, but the quality of materials is substandard.
Its to bad my wife complained that when someone calls she has trouble sliding it to answer. It has to be a very definite slide, whereas without the protector it doesn’t make a difference.
I have a competitor product on my iPod touch and don’t get this issue. I’ve requested a refund which Zagg have agreed to.
Ok, so I actually purchased this through Best Buy for $20. Most times these screen protectors come in packs of 3-5. Foolishly I didn’t check the box. Got home and realized that you only get 1.
In the end, I ended up struggling to put this on for 20 minutes, dealing with screen bubbles. The deal breaker was when I somehow got some dirt on the sticky side. I was being very careful about this, but I guess not careful enough. It ended up ruining the protector and I had to throw it away.
$20 down the drain.
I’m going to check this one out, cause it actually comes with more than 1 and seems to have decent reviews…

This protector does protect the screen from scratches. It is still the worst screen protector I’ve owned for any of my 4 iPhones.
1) The shield has a gummy feel to it and makes your fingers stick to it quite a bit, messing up a lot of swipe and multitouch gestures you attempt. It’s absolutely horrendous on a touch basis and makes the iPhone feel cheap.
2) Shield is textured quite a bit. Makes the screen look wavy sort of. Very noticeable and a big detriment to overall looks. None of my other iPhone shields have had this; they have all been almost unnoticeable.
3) The process for applying the shield (spray, squeegee) not only makes it impossible to avoid liquid entering into the earpiece and home button openings, but the squeegee process leaves a VERY noticeable striping on the screen. A big selling point of the iPhone 4 is the very nice screen. I haven’t enjoyed the screen even remotely as much as I did before I put this thing on. It looks like it has tons and tons of parallel scratches from the squeegee process.
4) Shield holds TONS of dirt. Unlike all my other screen protectors this thing picks up any dirt it possibly can (most likely due to aforementioned texture). And when you need to clean it off (I’m cleaning almost constantly) you can’t simply wipe it off, it needs to be really *cleaned* with moisture, again exposing my expensive piece of electronics to liquid.
Bottom Line: DO NOT BUY THIS BRAND. I’m going to pick up a Griffin screen protector or one of the other brands I’ve been incredibly happy with in the past as soon as possible. This one was a complete waste of money (not to mention MUCH more expensive than any I had previously purchased…ONE shield for $29!!!).
I have had several iphones and different screen protectors, this is by far the worst EVER. Application is a pain and results in many bubbles (the bubbles do disappear after about 1 week however). The worst part is that it peels off so easily. I left the screen on for a week before I put my iFrogz case on, the screen protector immediately peel up at the edges.
Unfortunately, the reviews are spot on! Incorrect installation, as someone insisted in a previous review, is NOT the problem! I had mine put on twice (replaced once just to see if it made a difference) by an Invisishield rep and it looks the same – even after a week – both times. It has a tacky feeling to it and looks rippled no matter how it is put on, especially at certain angles. The rep told me that she believes it has to do with the temperature of the new phone because they are having the same issues with the EVO. Not sure if that is the real reason, but it is definitely not invisible. That being said, it does not affect the use of the phone. If you can get past these issues, then it is an ok product. I can see where it will protect the phone but there are better ones out there. I’d prefer to wait until Apple gets their shields in because they just look better and are truly invisible. The iphone 4 has such a beautiful screen; it is a shame to ruin it with this shield, not to mention a waste of money!
