   I really like the Otterbox I purchased. It protects my Iphone well, and the phone fits easily into my purse.

   This is my fifth iPhone case. Speck cases are great but I kept breaking the small thin bar that ran across the bottom (by the plug jack and speakers). When I first laid eyes on this case I thought….there’s no way it will keep up with my rough handling. I’m one of those SAHMs who relies heavily on her phone for scheduling, gps, email, etc. You name it….it’s in my phone. So I’m constantly using it. It lives in my back pocket so even when I’m at the playground w/ the kids, I can whip it out of my pocket, schedule a playdate with a new friend and exchange contact info. But I digress….I put on this case….the black silicone sleeve first, which I was NOT excited about but I had heard wonderful things about Otter Box so I was going to give this the benefit of the doubt. Then on the outside of the case you put this hard plastic case. Which, I can only imagine, could withstand a nuclear bomb. This thing is freaking indestructible! I have dropped it I can’t tell you how many times…..it doesn’t even show the slightest bit of wear. I also like the fact the that green plastic is thin and fits into the molded areas for it in the black silicone. This makes it thinner than the Speck case so it’s gets even higher marks in my book. Excellent purchase and totally worth it!

   This product comes in authentic OtterBox retail packaging. The instructions for installation are included and it’s relatively easy. The hardest part is getting the screen protector on correctly. Make sure your iPhone is completely clean and lint free before you start! When you’re first sticking the screen protector on, don’t put it down all the way until it is centered.

   I love the green color. It’s a bold lime green, but not too “neon”. The green part is hard plastic and the black parts are rubbery. It fits the iPhone 3GS perfectly. It’s also less bulky and more stylish than the OtterBox Defender. I almost never drop my phone, but I wanted some protection against nicks and scratches. This case is high in quality and it looks great!

   I agree with the other reviews: the rubber cover for the headphone port is a little hard to open. I previously had the OtterBox Impact, but the whole thing is rubbery and lint/dust/sand got stuck all over it. This case is definitely an improvement.

   This is slim, rugged and fun to hold. It takes 3 seconds to take it off and less than 10 seconds to put it back on. The rubber is of high quality and the hard plastic is slick, but strong. When I first was looking at this, I thought the black part was the hard durable plastic and the green was the soft cushy rubber, but it’s the opposite – but makes sense.

   Great case, glad to have it – use it all the time, much slimmer than the defender series, but not as protective that’s for sure.

   Oh, and I also like the color.
